I am originally from Dallas, Texas, specifically the Oak Cliff area, but relocated to Fort Worth after graduating with my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University--Go Pokes. I originally obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of North Texas in 2010. I am proud to say that I am the first person in my family with a Master's Degree and one of few with a Bachelor's Degree.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist which indicates that I specialize in treating couples and families but I also see individuals as well. I am an avid volunteer in the community in which I reside, and the community that I grew up in, which is where most of my fondest and troublesome memories were created. My ultimate goal in life is to help others realize their true potential and to live life with truth and meaning.
Personally, I am a very fun person to be around and this translates well into my style of therapy. I enjoy playing basketball, working out, and spending time with family and friends. I am a very confident woman that encourages all of my clients to be confident in their abilities and inabilities just as I am. To be flawed is to be human. To be truly authentic is to walk fully in your purpose and embrace all of the struggles and shortcomings that come with it.
